Everything Big Starts Small
'Everything Big Starts Small', completed January 20th 2018
An original miniature artwork created using acrylic paints, fabric paint, texture paste, gel and Posca pens and collaged handmade materials on 3" x 3" upcycled mount board. I absolutely adore creating these little minis - they are just so much fun to work on. And although they are small, just as much time and love goes into painting them as does into my larger works. Whereas the larger pieces are more physical and free-flowing, my miniature artworks are created using precision, focus and attention to the minutest detail.
This cute little mixed media creation is as gorgeous as it is diminutive - won't take up much room on the wall, but it has a huge personality! Its small size makes it ideal for placing on a shelf, table or dresser, and it also looks great in a collection with other mini paintings such as 'We Fall Only To Rise Again'...
