This series of paintings was inspired by a challenge to limit my usual range of colours to the four-colour range used by a friend of mine: yellow ochre, black, white and burnt sienna. I tried using them unmixed, and it really wasn’t working for me – so I mixed them to a colour-range that I found more appealing to work with, and began to really enjoy my work… !
Acrylic on canvas, original 20cm x 20cm. Painting extends to edges of boxed ('gallery wrap') canvas, so no need to frame. Ready to hang and ready to beautify your home :o)
