'Minotaur', circa 1992
An early original artwork created using Bic Orange Biro pens on blue A4 card/paper, trimmed to approximately 200 x 200 mm.
- Original created over many hours on blue British Telecom paper whilst working as a telephone operator. The level of tiny detail is very high and all manner of shapes, forms and creatures spontaneously manifested within this piece. I had not intended to 'make' this artwork look like anything overall, but the finished piece puts me in mind of a bull or Minotaur mask. Amongst other things, I can now see a lovely hummingbird to the right of this piece, which I had not noticed until this very day, 28 or so years after I accidentally drew it!
