Fittingly, 'Breakthrough' is one of the most rewarding pieces I've ever worked on. It feels like a symphony of mini artworks all together in one piece - like a life story laid out on canvas. Not an easy birth, I stuck with this piece until it became a breakthrough work in and of itself, rather than an ugly, disparate mess.
Working through the various, seemingly divergent elements, I took this painting by the hand and walked with it into beauty. Heart, soul - everything and nothing - it's all there in this Magnum Opus, resonating, breaking through, telling its wild tale of freedom.
